Vinyl Neodecanoante-acid is easy to undergo binary or ternary copolymerization with various monomers such as ethylene, vinyl acetate, and acrylate, giving the copolymer excellent properties. Its highly branched aliphatic structure can form strong stereoprotection for itself and adjacent monomers in the copolymer, making the copolymer excellent resistance to hydrolysis (especially alkali resistance) and ultraviolet light. At the same time, highly branched side chains bring strong internal plasticity, which can improve pigment wettability and leveling when applied to coatings; it can also adjust the glass transition temperature of the polymer to form a tough and hard coating surface. This product has low volatility and is suitable for preparing low-VOC environmentally friendly polymer emulsions.
